A Comprehensive Review on the Performance of Structural Lightweight Aggregate Concrete for Sustainable Construction

Lightweight aggregate concrete is an innovative building material used to reduce the self-weight of a high-rise building. Recently, use lightweight in construction increasing immensely due its performance during earthquake. (LWAC) solution for achievement sustainability sector, which helps us cut down overall cost project massive work (tall buildings and bridges). Additionally, using various industrial by-products waste instead natural allows negative impact on environment. The development with relevance still prominent. properties explored this study. This study shows that materials less density can be structural applications strength equivalent normal weight concrete. application advantages LWAC are also discussed paper’s finding reveals sustainable growth by it as maintain environmental sustainability.
